Ace Energy Infrastructure Builds 3,600 m Pipeline in Assam – Extends Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga to North Eastern States

Ace Energy Infrastructure installed a 3600-meter pipeline across the Subansiri River in Assam for Indradhanush Gas Grid Ltd (IGGL) joint venture. The project will bring North Eastern states within the National Natural Gas Grid.

Ace Energy Infrastructure installed a 3600-meter pipeline of 24” diameter to help include the North Eastern states within the scope of Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga (National Natural Gas Grid). The pipeline was installed across the Subansiri River in Assam. It is the world’s largest project using Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) intersection method technology. 

The project was undertaken for Indradhanush Gas Grid Ltd (IGGL), which is a joint venture of Indian Oil Corporation, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, GAIL (India), Oil India, and Numaligarh Refinery.

Mr. Ravneet Singh, Director of Ace Energy Infrastructure, said, “This endeavor stands among the largest HDD crossings undertaken globally.
