Sintex – BAPL has finalized an investment of approximately INR 2,355 crore to set up manufacturing units in Telangana, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir for manufacturing plastic pipes and water storage with a total capacity of approximately 2,00,000 MT.

Sintex – BAPL, a wholly owned subsidiary of Welspun Corp Limited, has decided to invest approximately INR 2,355 crore to set up manufacturing units in Telangana, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. The project will be funded through a combination of debt and equity and is planned to be invested across two upcoming financial years, spanning between FY25 and FY26. The planned investment underscores the company’s plan to leverage and enter into different types of plastic pipe segments.
With the planned investment, the company will be ready to cater to the growing demand in the water storage and distribution segment as it plans to manufacture plastic pipes and water storage with a total capacity of approximately 2,00,000 MT.
