After creating a niche in the domestic market with its high-quality and innovative NDT products and accessories, Arora Technologies is setting its eyes on foreign shores. This was revealed by Mr. Anurag Tripathi, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Arora Technologies, during his recent interaction with Tube & Pipe India.
Tube & Pipe India: Kindly walk us through your business journey, highlighting major milestones and crucial achievements.
Anurag Tripathi: Arora Technologies Private Limited was incorporated as a private limited company by an ambitious technocrat with the motive of building an enterprise dedicated to the immensely challenging and high-potential field of non-destructive testing (NDT) & material evaluation. Our vision is to innovate, design and manufacture NDT products, systems and accessories for global markets by incorporating quality & excellence in our DNA. We are committed to building long-term relationships with our customers and pursuing our business through innovation, the latest technology & unrelenting quest for excellence. We also support our customers with effective after-sales services, technique/product related training, and application analysis. We strive to build a sustainable and profitable enterprise with a strong value chain for employees, customers & suppliers.
TPI: You have earned quite a reputation for producing and distributing high-quality NDT products and accessories. Please elaborate. In which industries do your products find applications?
AT: Our business is divided in three verticals. In the first vertical, we design and manufacture NDT products and accessories like LED UV lamps & UV meter yokes, power packs, MPI benches & accessories, film viewers & optical densitometer, ultrasonic probes, cables & calibration blocks, Eddy Current probes/coils, and inspection head for NPCIL, which are used for the inspection of PHWR. In the second vertical, we represent many reputed companies based in North America & Europe and look after the marketing & distribution of their products in India. In the third vertical, we offer an online/offline NDT system under the supervision of our principals, who are world leaders in their respective fields.
We cater to a wide spectrum of industries ranging from manufacturing, heavy engineering, nuclear, aviation, research & development to refineries, petrochemicals, and power stations. Our equipment goes through quality control assessments during production as well as in the post-production stage, in-service inspection, and maintenance activities of running plants, research, and related activities etc.

AT: Arora Technologies is committed to designing, manufacturing and distributing NDT products and accessories. AT: Our products are used by global leaders in more than 40 countries. We have over 1000 clients in India. Our major clients include Tata Steel, Jindal Group, Adani, NPCIL, BARC, NTPC, ARIES MARINE and APAVE Group.
TPI: What is your USP that sets you apart from others?

AT: We believe trade fairs are a great way to meet people, revive old connections and make new ones. TPI: What are your expectations from Tube & Pipe Fair 2024?
AT: We have high hopes from the upcoming Tube & Pipe Fair 2024, which will be held at Hitex Exhibition Center, Hyderabad from August 5 to 7. We believe it will help us to cater to our targeted market and bridge the gap between the exhibitors and visitors. We look forward to this opportunity to network with the best minds and top leaders in the industry. We are also expecting the event to give us information on product launches, innovations, new materials, machines and processes, along with current trends driving the industry.
TPI: Please share recent developments at Arora Technologies. Where do you see yourself five years down the line?
AT: Our OEM Pruftechnik NDT has introduced the latest version of their Magnetic Flux Leakage Testing (MFLT) system – NOVAFLUX New Generation. The MFLT system excels in detecting cracks and adopts its rotation speed to the actual outer diameter of the testing bars. While we are already leading the domestic market, we aim to become a global leader in providing high-quality NDT products and accessories. We are also looking forward to doubling our revenues by launching new products and creating a strong distribution channel.
