Welspun Speciality Solutions Limited has emerged as the L1 bidder for a supply of 4,050 tonnes of stainless steel seamless boiler tubes for a thermal power project from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited.

Welspun Speciality Solutions Limited (WSSL) has emerged as the L1 bidder for a 4,050-tonne supply contract for seamless boiler tubes for a series of thermal power projects undertaken by BHEL.

According to a stock exchange filing, WSSL has been notified as an L1 bidder by BHEL, Trichy, for the supply of stainless steel seamless boiler tubes for critical thermal power projects. The formal contract will be released after the PSU’s internal approval process.

Following the approval process, WSSL will receive the contract, valued at approximately INR 231.77 crore (excluding GST). WSSL has undergone a stringent assessment and approval process before winning the tender.
