Poddar Plumbing has increased its investment from INR 492 crore to INR 758 crore, to set up a large-scale production facility in Vemgal village, Kolar, Karnataka.

Poddar Plumbing, a prominent manufacturer of CPVC and PVC pipes, has significantly raised its planned investment for a new production facility in Karnataka. The total investment has increased from INR 492 crore to INR 758 crore, as reported by media sources. The upcoming facility is being developed in Vemgal village, Kolar district.
Spanning 33 acres, the large-scale plant is expected to begin operations by August 2026. The company has already acquired 28 acres of land, with the remaining five acres anticipated to be handed over shortly. Of the revised investment, INR 93 crore is allocated for land acquisition, INR 578 crore for construction and machinery, and INR 87 crore towards capital expenditure-related taxes.

In addition to the Vemgal project, Poddar Plumbing has proposed setting up a second manufacturing unit in Vijayapura. Notably, the Poddar family has a legacy in the piping industry, having previously been associated with the Aashirvad Pipes brand.
