John Cockerill India Ltd. has secured a INR 50 crore contract from Godawari Power & Ispat Limited to supply and commission a 6HI Cold Rolling Mill in Chhattisgarh.

John Cockerill India Limited has announced that it has been awarded a significant contract worth around INR 50 crore from Godawari Power and Ispat Limited. The order involves the engineering, design, manufacture, and supply of a 6HI cold rolling mill to be installed at Godawari’s Tilda facility in Chhattisgarh.
As part of the agreement, John Cockerill India will also supervise the erection and commissioning of the mill to ensure it meets contractual performance guarantees. The project is expected to be executed by the end of 2026.

The contract underscores John Cockerill India’s strong position in delivering advanced rolling mill technologies to domestic steelmakers. The company stated that the deal reflects confidence in its expertise to deliver critical components and oversee complex installations in line with global quality standards.
