India’s Jai Raj Ispat Ltd has commissioned a new rebar mill supplied by Italy’s Danieli at the Orvakal Mega Industrial Hub in Andhra Pradesh, featuring the country’s first implementation of Danieli’s MIDA-QLP endless casting-rolling technology.

The facility, with a rated capacity of 350,000 tonnes per year, integrates liquid-steel refining, continuous casting, induction heating, and high-speed rolling in one compact layout. The system successfully passed its performance guarantee test, validating readiness and global-standard quality. This launch strengthens Jai Raj Ispat’s competitive edge in the Indian reinforcement market and supports the country’s infrastructure growth agenda.
