Astral Limited is set to acquire Mumbai-based AL-AZIZ Plastics Private Limited in a strategic move valued at INR 33 crore. The acquisition is set to be completed through a cash transaction.
AL-AZIZ Plastics is known for its manufacturing capabilities in components and fittings used across water, gas, electricity, and solar distribution systems.
Astral disclosed in a regulatory filing that it has signed an agreement to purchase 100% equity in the company, with the transaction expected to conclude by or before June 30, 2025, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the agreement.
This acquisition supports Astral’s broader strategy to diversify its portfolio in the plastic pipes and fittings segment, marking a significant step in expanding Astral’s footprint in the infrastructure and utility solutions sector.
