Hi-Tech Pipes has commenced commercial production at its Sikandrabad greenfield plant, strengthening capacity, regional presence, and long-term growth plans. The company also announced a total capex of  INR 500 crore to INR 600 crore for the incremental capacity for the coming 2-3 years across operations.

Hi-Tech Pipes Limited has commenced commercial production at its Sikandrabad Unit-III greenfield manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh, marking a key milestone in the company’s expansion journey.

With the commissioning of the new facility, Hi-Tech Pipes has achieved 1 million tons of installed annual capacity, supported by recently added capacities at other locations. The Sikandrabad plant adds 1,20,000 MTPA, focused on ERW pipes and hollow sections, enhancing regional balance and operational flexibility.

Strategically located, the facility strengthens the company’s footprint in North and Central India, improves supply chain efficiency, reduces logistics costs, and enables faster service to infrastructure, construction, water distribution, fabrication, and industrial segments. Equipped with modern manufacturing technology, the plant is designed to deliver superior quality, scalability, and reliability.

Commenting on the development, Ajay Kumar Bansal, Chairman and Managing Director, said the commissioning reflects the company’s disciplined execution and reinforces its commitment to building a regionally balanced manufacturing network while supporting long-term profitability.
