Hi-Tech Pipes has kicked off a INR 100 crore greenfield manufacturing project at Hindupur, aimed at boosting value-added coated steel capacity.

Hi‑Tech Pipes Limited has formally laid the foundation stone for a new greenfield manufacturing facility in Hindupur, Andhra Pradesh. The project, funded through internal accruals, carries an investment of about INR 100 crore and is expected to achieve a production capacity of 1,50,000 tonne per annum (TPA). 

This expansion is targeted at serving customers in Southern and Western India while improving logistics efficiency and delivery timelines. The facility is scheduled for completion by Q2 FY28.

Hi-Tech Pipes currently has an installed capacity of 0.75 Million TPA with a utilisation rate of 66%. Through this and other brownfield/greenfield expansions, the company is pursuing a broader strategy to raise its total capacity to 2.0 Million TPA.
