Jindal Saw Ltd. has announced plans to establish a steel pipe manufacturing complex in Algeria, reinforcing its international expansion strategy and strengthening its presence in North Africa. The proposal was presented during a meeting between the company’s senior management and officials of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI), where discussions focused on Algeria’s investment environment and opportunities for large-scale industrial projects.
The proposed facility will manufacture steel pipes of various diameters and specifications to cater to both domestic and regional demand. The project is expected to support downstream industries linked to the energy, water resources, and infrastructure sectors while contributing to the development of Algeria’s local industrial ecosystem and reducing dependence on imports for strategic products.
