Jindal Steel has announced the successful development and dispatch of the first lot of 6mm Rockhard 400 steel plate from its newly commissioned Heat Treatment Complex at Raigarh, enabling faster import substitution of this segment. This achievement has been realised through the combined technical strength of the Raigarh and Angul plants, making it the only producer of this grade in India.
The product was previously supplied by overseas mills, but with its domestic development, it enables shorter lead times and enhanced service responsiveness for the customers. The material is dispatched through Green Line Logistics, leading to operational excellence and environmentally responsible supply chains.
With this advancement, Jindal Steel now offers a comprehensive range of quenched and tempered products, further strengthening its position as a single, integrated solutions provider for discerning clients.
