JSW JFE Electrical Steel takes a major leap towards self-reliant India in CRGO steel production through a major expansion initiative at its Nashik facility to quintuple CRGO production capacity from 50,000 TPA to 250,000 TPA, aligning with India’s rising demand for energy-efficient electrical infrastructure.

JSW JFE Electrical Steel, Nashik has entrusted YOGIJI DIGI with the design, manufacturing, supply, supervision of erection & commissioning of annealing & pickling line for this prestigious CRGO project.

In this line, the high silicon content hot rolled strip is annealed prior to scale removal. This heat treatment is done to enhance the scale removal and improve the surface. The oxide scale on the GO grade HR strip is tightly adherent, so the strip is subjected to inline shot blasting in addition to the acid pickling.
