JTL Industries will supply around 36,000 MT SI-certified galvanized mild steel (GMS) tubes for a government project under the Jal Jeevan Mission in Jammu.

JTL Industries Limited has secured an order worth INR 265 crore to supply SI-certified galvanized mild steel (GMS) tubes for 95 percent of the sizes, amounting to 35,473 metric tonnes, for a government project under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
The company said in an exchange filing that it has emerged as the L1 bidder for the Jal Jeevan Mission project in Jammu. The contract reinforced JTL Industries’ capabilities in delivering high-quality products that complied with stringent government standards.
The achievement also highlighted JTL’s commitment to supporting vital infrastructure projects and contributing to the nation’s development, it added.

The Jal Jeevan Mission was initiated by the Ministry of Jal Shakti in 2019 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The initiative envisioned providing safe and adequate drinking water through individual household tap connections by 2024 to every rural household in the country.
