JTL Industries Limited, a premier steel tube manufacturer of the country, has entered into a special purpose Joint Venture agreement with Singla Constructions to jointly participate in a railway tender.
The Chandigarh-based company said that the transaction did not qualify as a related party transaction and there were no potential conflicts of interest arising from the agreement.
Earlier this month, the leading steel tube maker of India had secured an order worth INR 265 crore to supply SI-certified galvanized mild steel (GMS) tubes for 95 percent of the sizes, amounting to 35,473 metric tonnes, for a government project under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
The company said in an exchange filing that it emerged as the L1 bidder for the Jal Jeevan Mission project in Jammu.
