Lalbaba Engineering Limited Signs MoU under Government’s PLI 1.2 Scheme for Specialty Steel

Lalbaba Engineering Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding under the Government of India’s Production Linked Incentive Scheme 1.2 for specialty steel. The company proposed that a cold finished seamless tube expansion project at Haldia, West Bengal, will be eligible for incentives under the scheme.

Lalbaba Engineering Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding under the Government of India’s Production Linked Incentive Scheme 1.2 for specialty steel, marking its admission into the nationwide programme aimed at strengthening domestic steel manufacturing.

The company proposed that a cold-finished seamless tube expansion project at Haldia, West Bengal, will be eligible for incentives under the scheme. The MoU was signed at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. The approval covers alloy steel and stainless steel long products.

Mr. Nikunj Dhanuka, Director, Lalbaba Engineering Limited emphasized that the signing of the MoU under the PLI Scheme represents an important step in advancing domestic seamless tube manufacturing capabilities, aligning with national manufacturing priorities.
