Patels Airflow Limited Aims to Become Global Tubes Supplier

Within a short span of 16 years, Patels Airflow Limited has become a trusted and reliable supplier of pipes and tubes to large refinery plants and power plants. The company aims to further expand its national and international markets, while continuing to provide best quality products with competitive prices and excellent after sales services. This was revealed by Mr. Devang Patel, Director, Patels Airflow Limited, during his interaction with Tube & Pipe India.

Tube & Pipe India: Kindly share details about your business journey from 1973 to 2024, highlighting major milestones and crucial achievements.

DP: Patels Airflow Limited Is a reputed group in the field of industrial engineering products since 1973, originally known as Patels Airtemp (India) Limited. We were engaged in the manufacturing of heat exchangers, pressure vessels equipment and other industrial products. In 2001, we separated from Patels Airtemp (India) Limited and started our journey as Patels Airflow Limited. Our quality, commitment and client friendly attitude made us stand with the high head in the industry for more than 40 years. After a successful journey of four decades, we diversified and launched our new venture Patels Airflow Limited (tube division) in 2008.

TPI: Please give information about your products and annual production capacity.

DP: We produce carbon steel cold finished seamless straight tubes, pipes and U tubes in the outer diameter range of 6 mm – 73 mm, having thickness between 0.7 mm – 13.49 mm and maximum length of 25 mt. We also produce stainless steel cold finished seamless straight tubes, pipes and U tubes in the outer diameter range of 6 mm – 73 mm, with thickness range of 0.71 mm – 5 mm. We have a production capacity of 3,000 MTPA of carbon steel cold finished seamless straight tubes, pipes and U tubes, along with 1,500 MTPA of stainless steel cold finished seamless straight tubes, pipes and U tubes.

TPI: Kindly tell us more about your market footprint and major clientele.

DP: Our products find wide and increasing application & substitution in industries such as chemical plants, power plants, food & beverages, heat exchangers, condensers, hydraulic & pneumatic, pharmaceutical machinery, heat transfer equipment like boilers, defence, chilling plants, automobiles, and general engineering. Patels Airflow Limited has a significant market footprint in the seamless tubes manufacturing industry. Operating in over eight countries (UK, Australia, Jamaica, Dubai, Sharjah, Netherlands, and Czech Republic), PAL has established a strong global presence. Its customer base includes top enterprises and governments worldwide.

TPI: Patels Airflow Limited has earned quite a reputation for its high-quality products. How do you manage to stay ahead of the curve in the industry?

DP: We stay ahead of the curve by continuing our learning process and keeping ourselves updated with the latest trends and innovations.
