Primetals Technologies wins modernization order from Toyo Kohan to upgrade pickling line efficiency, reliability and maintenance at Kudamatsu plant Japan.

Primetals Technologies has received an order from Japanese steel producer Toyo Kohan Co., Ltd. to modernize the pickling line at its Kudamatsu plant.
The project scope includes advanced coil handling systems, replacement of existing pickling tanks with durable polypropylene tanks, and the first-ever installation of a new laser beam welding (LBW) machine.
