The Universal Section Mill (USM) at SAIL’s IISCO Steel Plant has successfully rolled a new structural profile beam — UB406X178X67.1— that meets stringent European specifications. Widely used in the construction sector, this new addition further strengthens SAIL’s portfolio of premium structural products.
This marks the third European-standard profile developed by the USM, significantly enhancing SAIL’s market presence and global competitiveness.
