TI Machine Building successfully delivers India’s first indigenously made Pilger mill to NFC, inaugurated during NFC Day 2025.

TI Machine Building (TIMB) has supplied the largest Pilger mill in India to the Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), Hyderabad. Designed for processing zirconium, stainless steel, and titanium tubes, the mill operates at up to 180 strokes per minute.

It marks a significant milestone under the “Make in India” initiative, replacing imports with indigenous technology. The mill was inaugurated on 5 June 2025 by Dr. Komal Kapoor, Chairman & Chief Executive of NFC, during NFC Day celebrations. TIMB expressed gratitude to NFC for their support throughout the project’s challenges and successful commissioning.
