Vibhor Steel Tubes Strengthens Value-Added Steel Portfolio with Odisha Expansion

Vibhor Steel Tubes Ltd (VSTL) reported a 27.16% rise in Q1 FY27 operating revenue to INR 293.69 crore, supported by higher sales of value-added products from its Odisha plant.

Vibhor Steel Tubes Ltd (VSTL) is strengthening its position in the value-added steel segment with the ramp-up of its 156,000 MTPA Sundargarh plant in Odisha. The greenfield facility, which began commercial production in July 2025 following an investment of INR 119.83 crore, has commenced supplies of ERW and GI pipes and is supporting the company’s growth in infrastructure and real estate markets. The Odisha facility produces a range of value-added products, including ERW and galvanized pipes.

Commenting on the performance, Vijay Kaushik, Chairman and Executive Director, Vibhor Steel Tubes, said, “The geopolitical situation and global volatility notwithstanding, we have been able to post a healthy growth in both our topline and operating profitability. There has been a significant uptick in demand for value-added steel products from across the country for infrastructure and real estate projects.”
