Welspun Corp, a leading Indian pipe manufacturer, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China’s Baosteel, one of the largest steel producers globally, to collaborate on strategic business opportunities in the global steel pipe market.
The partnership will focus on the joint development of high-quality hot-rolled steel plates and coils, which will be used to manufacture premium steel pipes for the oil and gas sector.
