Home-grown Welspun Corp Limited (WCL) has secured new orders worth approximately INR 3,000 crore for supplying coated pipes for natural gas pipeline projects in the United States.
The orders include two major contracts for helical submerged arc welded (HSAW) pipes and additional orders for high-frequency inducted welded (HFIW) pipes.
The leading global manufacturer of large diameter pipes said in an exchange filing that it planned to execute these orders primarily during the fiscal years 2026 and 2027. The new contracts have taken WCL’s consolidated order book to approximately INR 18,000 crore.

As per Welspun, the new orders strengthened its dominant market position in the oil and gas transmission sector of the United States. The Mumbai-based line pipe manufacturer said it was well-positioned to capitalize on future opportunities in the US markets.
