Tube & Pipe India: What will you showcase at Tube Düsseldorf to highlight India’s technological capabilities and manufacturing excellence to a global audience?
Aaradhya Baheti: At Tube Düsseldorf, we are showcasing precision-engineered tube and pipe solutions manufactured under globally aligned quality systems. Our focus is on advanced and accurate forming, tight dimensional control, and application-specific customization, supported by ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and CQI-aligned process controls. This demonstrates India’s capability to deliver high-reliability and cost effective products for demanding global applications.
TPI: International trade fairs play a crucial role in shaping industry collaborations. How do platforms like Tube Düsseldorf help Indian manufacturers connect with global markets and customers?
AB: Platforms like Tube Düsseldorf are critical bridges between Indian manufacturers and global customers. They allow direct engagement with OEMs, system integrators, and technology partners in a highly technical environment. For Indian companies, such fairs help to build credibility, understand evolving customer expectations, and align offerings with global benchmarks. They also open doors to long-term partnerships rather than transactional relationships, positioning Indian manufacturers as strategic suppliers in global value chains.
TPI: From your participation at Tube Düsseldorf, what key global market insights are you hoping to gain and bring back to strengthen India’s tube and pipe manufacturing ecosystem?
AB: We are looking to understand emerging application requirements, material innovations, and evolving customer expectations around quality, traceability, and sustainability. These insights help us align our manufacturing roadmap with future global demand and strengthen India’s tube and pipe ecosystem.
TPI: Over the years, how have you seen India’s representation evolve at international trade fairs, and how do you contribute to strengthening India’s image as a global engineering hub?
AB: India’s presence has shifted from being cost-driven to capability- and credibility-driven. Today, Indian manufacturers are evaluated on engineering depth, consistency, and governance standards. We contribute by investing in advanced processes, skilled manpower, and globally aligned quality systems.
TPI: What core Indian manufacturing strengths differentiate you on the global stage? For what turnkey solutions is the world looking at India?
AB: India’s key strengths lie in engineering adaptability, skilled manpower, scalable manufacturing, and cost-efficient innovation. Globally, customers look to India for turnkey solutions that combine design support, tooling, production, and quality assurance under one roof. India excels where customization, complexity, and speed-to-market are equally important.
TPI: Technology partnerships and acquisitions are critical today. How are Indo-global collaborations helping reinforce India’s engineering leadership?
AB: Indo-global collaborations play a vital role in accelerating technology transfer and capability building. Partnerships with European and global firms help Indian manufacturers adopt advanced processes, automation, and quality systems faster. At the same time, India contributes manufacturing agility and scalability. This two-way collaboration strengthens India’s position as a global engineering partner rather than just a production location.
TPI: Which international regions do you see as strategic growth markets, and how is India positioned as your global manufacturing base to support these expansions?
AB: Europe, North America, and select Asian markets remain strategic growth regions due to their focus on high-quality and compliant products. India is well-positioned as a global manufacturing base because of its improving infrastructure, strong supplier ecosystem, and policy support for manufacturing. From India, we can efficiently serve global markets while maintaining consistency, flexibility, and competitiveness.
TPI: How are cost pressures across raw materials, energy, or logistics being managed without compromising product reliability or compliance?
AB: Cost pressures are being managed through process optimization, waste reduction, long-term supplier partnerships, and energy-efficient manufacturing practices. Digital planning and better demand forecasting also help reduce volatility. Importantly, cost optimization is never allowed to compromise product reliability, safety, or compliance—these remain non-negotiable for global customers.
TPI: How are sustainability expectations from customers or regulators translating into changes in product design, manufacturing practices, or material choices?
AB: Sustainability expectations are increasingly influencing every stage of manufacturing. We are seeing a shift toward material efficiency, recyclable inputs, energy-efficient processes, and lower-emission operations. Customers are also demanding transparency and compliance with environmental standards. These expectations are driving Indian manufacturers to integrate sustainability not as a compliance requirement, but as a core part of long-term competitiveness.

Globally, customers look to India for turnkey solutions that combine design support, tooling, production, and quality assurance under one roof. India excels where customization, complexity, and speed-to-market are equally important.
