SSAB, a steel manufacturing company based in Sweden, has opened a new steel service center in Mumbai, dedicated to producing and supplying parts, kits and advanced components made from specialised steel. The facility will support Indian manufacturers of transport, construction and lifting equipment by providing ready-to-assemble components.  

The SSAB service center focuses on supplying ready-to-assemble kits and precision-processed components made from Hardox® and Strenx® steels, streamlining production and enhancing equipment performance. The facility also supports designs that require specialised bending of high-strength Hardox® or Strenx® plate, an increasingly important capability for lightweight rock bodies and other advanced equipment designs.
