Welspun Corp Limited has approved the incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary in Jordan to manufacture and process iron and steel products, including line pipes and tubular products for water, gas and oil transportation.

The proposed entity, Welspun Pipe Jordan PSC, will be incorporated through Welspun Global Holdings Limited (WGHL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Welspun Corp based in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The proposal was approved by the WGHL Board on September 18, 2026.

Welspun Pipe Jordan, PSC, will undertake the manufacturing, production, processing and fabrication of wires, tubes and pipes of iron and steel, including line pipes and other tubular products. Its activities will also include casting and processing of iron and steel and manufacturing of components arising from such casting activities for industrial applications.

The incorporation is subject to approvals from the relevant statutory authorities in Jordan. WGHL will hold 100 percent of the share capital of the proposed entity, with the shares to be subscribed through cash consideration.
