Tube & Pipe India: Walk us through the journey of KEC Bearings, highlighting major milestones and crucial achievements.
Honey Dudhatra: KEC Bearings Private Limited, formally named Kankai Engineering Company Private Limited, was established in 1998 at Rajkot in Gujarat to manufacture all types of bearings, with special expertise in spherical roller bearings. The company has since established itself as a complete bearing solution provider, with an impeccable reputation far beyond the borders of India. KEC Bearings today enjoys remarkable market acceptance in India as well as on the global level. We continuously deliver on our promise of manufacturing top-notch engineered spherical roller bearings with low speed and heavy load capacities suitable for a wide area in industrial applications. TPI: Shed some light on your manufacturing plants and annual production capacity.
HD: KEC Bearings has its own manufacturing plant with latest technological and quality control machineries and equipment. Spread over an area of 3,000 square meters, our manufacturing facility is built with sophisticated equipment to optimize the process from production to assembling and align it with our research and development department in accordance with global standard practice. We have a manufacturing capacity of more than 1 million bearings.
TPI: Please elaborate the product range you cater to the market? Which are the industries where your products find application?
HD: KEC Bearings currently manufactures various types of spherical roller bearings, ball bearings, taper roller bearings, and cylindrical roller bearings. Our branded spherical roller bearings are used in jaw crushers, steel plants, ball mills, stone crushers, pulverizers, cement plants, oil mills, ginning mills, wind mills, paper mills, sugar mills, rice mills, hammer mills, cone crushers, coal crushers, impact crushers, conveyors, elevators, reduction gear boxes, pinion stands, railway & ship machineries, mining equipment, construction machineries, vibrating equipment, earth moving machineries and other heavy machineries.

Our laboratory is equipped with the latest and high-tech quality control instruments such as roundness tester, foam tracer, universal length measuring machine (ULM), and surface finish tester.
