Mr. Rohit Malpani, Managing Director of Malpani Pipes & Fittings Limited, said that the expansion aimed at strengthening its product range and business growth. The PVC pipes would be sold through the same channels as the sprinkler and drip pipes of Malpani Pipes and Fittings, meaning that no extra effort would be needed to find new markets.
It would help the company to serve its customers requiring both HDPE and PVC pipes in the same shipment. This would increase the sale of HDPE pipe as well. With the new machinery and current pricing, Malpani Pipes and Fittings expected the sales to grow by INR 40-45 crore, with INR 15 crore coming from PVC pipes alone, he added.
