Shyam Metalics is investing INR 603 crore to set up a greenfield cold rolling mill in Jamari, West Bengal. The PLI-approved facility spans 55 acres and is being developed in two phases.
Phase I, operational since September 2024, has a production capacity of 2,50,000 tonnes, while phase II will add another 1,50,000 tonnes, taking the total production capacity of the new facility to 4,00,000 tonnes.
