Steel Exchange India Secures INR 210 Crore Conversion Contract From RINL

Steel Exchange India Limited (SEIL) has won a INR 210 crore contract from RINL to convert billets into Vizag Steel TMT rebars.

In a strategic development, Steel Exchange India Limited has been awarded a conversion contract by Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), a public sector enterprise. The contract involves the conversion of 1.20 lakh tons of billets annually into various sizes of Vizag Steel-branded TMT rebars.

The contract spans two years and can be extended by one additional year through mutual agreement. The work will be executed at the company’s newly commissioned rolling mill, aimed at enhancing capacity utilization and driving revenue growth.

The total value of the contract is estimated at up to INR 210 crore, with an annual consideration of up to INR 70 crore. The order has been awarded by a domestic entity.
