Jain Irrigation Systems Limited has secured a major work order worth INR 135 crore from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM-KUSUM B Scheme.
As per the order, Jain Irrigation will design, manufacture, supply, transport, install, test, and commission 5,438 off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems in capacities of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP. The contract is slated for completion within FY 2025–26.

The project will bolster solar-powered irrigation infrastructure in Maharashtra, supporting sustainable farming practices. The company confirmed that this is a domestic order with no related party transactions involved.
