The government run steel producer Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) is privatising several key operational and service departments in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, as per a media report.
The mill with its production capacity of 7.3 million metric tonnes per annum has announced that two-third of its thermal plant will be handed over to private management. This move follows earlier tender inviting private companies for the quality assurance and technological department, the raw material handling department, and the sinister plant.

RINL has also invited private participants for steel melt shops (I, II,III) blast furnace (I,II,III), structural and wire rod mills (I,II, VI), Madaram mines, rolls and repair shops (I,II and VIII), the central maintenance shop, foundry, special technology mill and other associated facilities.
