Bangladesh based steelmaker, Abul Khair Steel Limited, has commenced operations at the rebar mill located in Sitakund, Chattogram. The new mill will increase the country’s steel making capacity to meet the surging domestic demands.
The facility has a production capacity of 1.6 million tonnes per year of deformed bars. The mill incorporates SMS group’s MEERdrive blocks, ensuring uniform product quality across all rebars ranging from 8-40mm.
