Tata Steel has announced an ambitious expansion of its Kalinganagar plant in Odisha, targeting a total production capacity of 16 million tonnes per year. The upgraded mill would become Tata Steel’s largest global facility, strengthening its domestic footprint and export potential.
As part of the investment, the company intends to enhance operational efficiencies, adopt greener production technologies, and further integrate its upstream and downstream steelmaking processes.
