Amit Metaliks has laid the foundation stone for a INR 4,000-crore integrated greenfield steel plant at Raghunathpur, Purulia, West Bengal, marking a major manufacturing investment in the region.

Amit Metaliks Limited has commenced work on its 148-acre integrated greenfield steel plant at Raghunathpur in Purulia, West Bengal. The project involves an investment of around INR 4,000 crore and is expected to generate approximately 10,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities.

The company is targeting full-scale operations within one year. The project is expected to strengthen Purulia’s industrial base, and support local economic development through employment and allied industrial activities.
