The Assam Cabinet has approved an investment proposal of INR 303.69 crore by Weetek Plastic Private Limited, a Welspun Group company, to establish a manufacturing unit in Rangia, Kamrup district. The project is expected to generate approximately 300 employment opportunities, according to the state government’s announcement.
