The new steel plant will come up in Izmir in the second half of 2025. Efece Galvaniz plans to increase its share of exports to 50 percent in the next five years with the new facility.

In order to meet the needs of the industry, as well as enhance its current production capacity, Efece Galvaniz Iron Steel Industry and Trade Inc, a Turkey-based company specializing in the supply of iron-steel, roofing and insulation products, has announced plans to build a new steel production plant in Izmir in the second half of 2025.
Local media reports said the company, which annually produced 22,000 mt and sold 40,000 mt of steel at its plants in Izmir and Manisa, aimed to increase its share of exports in its turnover to 50 percent in the next five years with the new plant.
As per the company, it would shift its production in Manisa to Izmir over time.

Efe Demircan, chairman of Efece Galvaniz Iron Steel Industry and Trade Inc, stated that they were working to strengthen the company’s presence in the global market, especially in Europe.
