Strengthening its position in the precision steel tube industry, Grow Ever Group is expanding beyond tube manufacturing with its entry into the automotive components segment while simultaneously enhancing its manufacturing capabilities through the launch of a fourth production unit in Kolkata. Alongside capacity expansion, the company is driving digital transformation by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into its operations and deploying a fully in-house developed ERP system to streamline manufacturing processes. In an exclusive interview with Tube & Pipe India, Mr. Rajat Sarawgi, Managing Director, Grow Ever Group, discusses the company’s product portfolio, production capacities, recent developments, automation and digitalization initiatives, key industry challenges, and the trends shaping the future of the tube and pipe sector.

Tube & Pipe India: Please briefly introduce your company’s tube and pipe product portfolio and the key end-user sectors it caters to?
Rajat Sarawgi: Grow Ever Group has been in the business since 2008. We are into the manufacturing of ERW MS precision steel tubes. We started in 2008, and it has been a good, solid 18 years of growth. We focus and specialize in close-tolerance precision tubes ranging from 8 mm OD to 85 mm OD, with a thickness range of 0.3 mm to 5 mm, across various grades and sizes. We provide customised solutions for industries such as automotive, solar, furniture, hospital equipment, bicycles, and many more.
TPI: Could you please elaborate on the production capacities of each of your tube and pipe product categories?
RS: Currently, our tube manufacturing capacity is about 3,000 tonnes per month. In addition, we provide cut-to-length customized solutions, for which our current capacity is around 400 tonnes per month. We have also recently entered the automotive components segment, manufacturing CNC- and VMC-based products.

TPI: Could you share the recent developments, innovations, and strategic initiatives your company has undertaken in the tube and pipe segment?
RS: We recently launched our fourth manufacturing unit in Kolkata. This expansion was driven by customer demand, as our service was appreciated and customers wanted us to add more products to our portfolio. We are also focusing extensively on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and are digitalizing our processes across the organization. We have developed an in-house ERP system, built entirely from scratch by our own team. The new unit is equipped with state-of-the-art precision machinery, catering to a wide range of industries.
TPI: What is currently the biggest challenge faced by the tube and pipe industry?
RS: Given the relatively low barrier to entry, many smaller players are entering the market and focusing on providing cheaper products while overlooking the industry’s key requirements—quality and timely delivery. While entering the market may be easy, long-term sustainability depends on building strong customer relationships, something we have focused on over the last 18–20 years.

TPI: How important are automation and digitalization in your future growth plans, and which manufacturing or quality control improvements have delivered the most measurable benefits for your operations?
RS: Automation and digitalization are extremely critical for moving ahead with the times. If we are unable to incorporate them into our day-to-day manufacturing processes, we will be left behind. That is why we have invested in an in-house ERP system, with all our processes mapped through digitalization. We have already started implementing several other initiatives, and automation and digitalization are an integral part of the entire process at Grow Ever Group.
TPI: What are some of the trends that you see shaping the industry in the coming years?
RS: The industry will increasingly focus on automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI is the need of the hour, and the sooner companies integrate AI into their manufacturing processes, the better positioned they will be for the future. I believe this will be one of the defining trends over the next few years.

TPI: What are your expectations from TPF Hyderabad 2026?
RS: Exhibitions like Tube & Pipe Fair provide an excellent opportunity to meet industry peers and stalwarts while creating valuable networking opportunities. Over the past few years, Tube & Pipe Fair has successfully provided such a platform. We look forward to meeting new clients, understanding new requirements, and learning about developments across the industry. We are hoping for a good experience.
