Hi-Tech Pipes is setting up a greenfield plant at Secunderabad that is already in the advanced stage of commissioning. The unit is a pivotal part of their roadmap to achieve 1 million tons of total production capacity by FY 26, which includes the capacity of Secunderabad, Sanand, Hindupur and Khopoli facilities.
The facility will produce specialized ERW steel pipes catering to infrastructure, defense and renewable sectors. Additionally, they plan a brownfield expansion at Sanand Unit-2. The Sanand Unit-2 facility expansion is aimed at serving the infrastructure and energy sectors. This is in line with their strategy to enhance value-added products offering while optimizing the existing plant ecosystem.

The company has also decided on a capex outlay of approximately INR 200 crores for FY26-27. With this capex, the company plans to increase its capacity by another 25%-30% in FY 27.
