At Tube & Pipe Fair (TPF) 2025, Jindal Industries Hissar Pvt. Ltd. placed a major equipment order with PP Rolling Mills Mfg. Co. Pvt. Ltd., marking a significant step toward expanding its tube manufacturing capacity, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing product quality. The order was finalized during the exhibition and reflects Jindal Industries’ continued focus on capacity expansion supported by advanced tube mill technology. In an exclusive interaction with Tube & Pipe India, Mr. Sunil Jain, Director and CEO, Jindal Industries Hissar Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Pankaj Khanna, Managing Director, PP Rolling Mills Mfg. Co. Pvt. Ltd., shared insights into the order and its relevance in the current market environment.


The major equipment order supports Jindal Industries’ plans to strengthen its tube production footprint across northern and southern India. The expansion is driven by sustained demand from customers and dealers, as well as the company’s objective to broaden its product range and improve market reach through high-quality, efficient manufacturing setups.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Sunil Jain, Director and CEO, Jindal Industries Hissar Pvt. Ltd. said, “We have recently taken a significant amount of equipment from PP Rolling Mills as a Jindal Group. The facility is extremely good, and we are confident of receiving the quality we have invested in. There has been consistent push from our customers and dealers, and we wanted to set up plants in both the south and the north to enhance our product portfolio and reach. We are expecting around 6,000 tons from this mill, with quick changeover and better-quality section tubes of smaller sizes being the key advantages.”
Elaborating on the order, Mr. Pankaj Khanna, Managing Director, PP Rolling Mills Mfg. Co. Pvt. Ltd., noted that it reinforces PP Rolling Mills’ position as a leading domestic supplier of advanced tube mill solutions. “Impressed by our technological advancements and the commitment of our team, Jindal Industries Hissar announced during the show its decision to place an order for a 6” tube mill equipped with a quick-change and auto-setting system. The order was secured despite strong competition from European, Chinese, and Korean suppliers,” he said.
