Jindal Saw will set up a 300,000 TPA pipe plant in Abu Dhabi and form joint ventures in Saudi Arabia for helically spiral welded (HSAW) and ductile iron pipes, targeting the MENA oil and gas sector. The company has invested USD 118 million in the projects.

Jindal Saw has approved the formation of a step-down subsidiary in the UAE to establish a 3,00,000 tonnes per annum pipe manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi, targeting the MENA region’s oil and gas industry. The investment in this project is expected to be around USD 105 million, with a three year completion aim.
In Saudi Arabia, its subsidiary Jindal Saw Holdings FZE has entered into a joint venture with Buhur for Investment Company LLC for a helically spiral welded (HSAW) pipe project. The company will hold a 51percent stake, investing up to USD 10 million. The estimated timeline for this project is two years.
Another joint venture with RAX United Industrial Company is to set up a ductile iron pipe manufacturing plant. With an investment of USD 3 million, the project is expected to be completed within 12-18 months.

The company stated that all required government and regulatory approvals will be secured to ensure smooth execution of the projects.
