Sambhv Steel Tubes Limited is undertaking a greenfield project at Kesda. This project is planned in three phases, aiming to add a total capacity of 1.2 million tonnes of finished products. Phase 1 is expected to be commissioned by the end of the financial year 2027.
The land for the Kesda project has been acquired, and key approvals have been secured, including those from the Gram Panchayat, Terms of Reference (TOR) from the Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF), and a public hearing conducted by the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board (CECB).
In Phase 1, the company plans to produce 180,000 tonnes of pipes and tubes, as well as 180,000 tonnes of stainless steel—both through fully integrated backward and forward operations.
