Suraj Limited, a stainless tube and pipe manufacturer based in Ahmedabad, has announced a major capacity expansion plan. The company will invest approximately INR 15 crores to enhance its manufacturing capabilities for outer diameter (OD) pipes up to 170 mm, as per the company’s filing on SEBI.

With this investment, the company proposes to increase its total capacity from 5,000 MT to 7,000MT annually. The project aims to reduce the company’s dependence on import substitutes and diversify its product portfolio to meet industrial demands for large-diameter pipes.
