Surya Roshni has announced that the company’s capacity has improved by about 2 lakh tonnes. And in the next one year, the company’s capacity will reach 1.6 million tonnes (16 lakh tonnes) from 1.4 million tonnes (14 lakh tonnes).
In the steel pipes and strips, during Q4 FY26, the revenue was INR 1,662 crore, even as year-on-year performance was impacted by elevated steel price volatility and on account of the Middle East current crisis. In the steel business, the company reported revenue of INR 5,731 crore, reflecting stable year-on-year performance.
The business also expanded its footprint into newer geographies during the year, including the UK market for the section pipe, while strengthening order visibility across North America and Europe.
Exports stood at 1.36 lakh tonnes for FY26, and the company is targeting to cross 2.5 lakh tonnes in the coming year.
Further, the current order book of the steel division is over INR1,000 crores, led by exports, spiral, and some domestic API orders, providing strong visibility for H1 FY27, which is expected to be the highest-ever half-year for value-added product sales.

Looking ahead, the company’s capacity will increase by about 3 lakh tonnes. So, in FY28 -29, the capacity will be around 1.9 million tonnes (19 lakh tonnes).
Overall, the company’s improved capacity utilization, working capital optimization, and cost rationalization enabled the company to become a zero-debt company and have cash surplus funds of INR 337 crore in FY26.
