Tubos Reunidos Group will be the world’s leading producer in the manufacture of seamless pipes with 0.0 kg of CO2e emissions per kg of pipe or tube produced, within its direct operations and energy used, corresponding to scope 1 and 2 of the life cycle analysis.
These new tubes, called O-Next tubes, represent a new step in Tubos Reunidos’ commitment to sustainability and innovation.The company, which has already secured its first orders, will carry out the first production campaign in the last quarter of 2024 with the manufacture of 2,000 tonnes of this tube.
Tubos Reunidos’ commitment to the decarbonization of the industry will be reflected with the introduction of this kind of new tube to the market. In addition, this range of products responds to the growing demand for this type of product by the market.

Tubos Reunidos is a low-emission manufacturer in the sector, because its production technology is based on electric arc furnaces. To develop the first zero-emission seamless tube and pipe, in addition to the unification of steel mills, different initiatives have been launched, including the use of recycled raw materials; efficiency improvements in the manufacturing process; and the installation of more than 30,000 solar panels on the roofs of its factories, which will make Tubos Reunidos the manufacturing company with the highest installed capacity on the roof for self-consumption among the companies in the north of the Iberian Peninsula.
