Sambhv Steel Tubes Limited is undertaking a greenfield expansion at Kesda & Kuthrel Unit-II to add 1.2 MMTPA finished product capacity in phased manner. The company is also undertaking brownfield expansion of stainless-steel CR coil and  ERW pipes & tubes, aiming to scale its finished products capacity from 0.62 MMTPA to 2.03 MMTPA over the next 4–5 years.

Sambhv Steel Tubes Limited is undertaking a greenfield expansion at Kesda & Kuthrel Unit-II to add 1.2 MMTPA finished product capacity in phased manner. Phase-I includes 0.36 MMTPA stainless-steel coils production capacity with estimated CAPEX of INR 8,100 million, targeted for commissioning by Q4 FY27. 

The company is also undertaking brownfield expansion of stainless-steel CR coils through debottlenecking to increase production capacity from 58,000 MTPA to 116,000 MTPA and ERW pipes & tubes through DFT route, adding 1,50,000 MTPA capacity with an estimated CAPEX of INR 500 million.

The company has further expanded the capacity of sponge iron to 280,000 MTPA, HR coils to 390,000 MTPA, ERW & GI Pipes to 350,000 MTPA, and the power plant to 25 MW.  With these expansions at hand, the company aims to scale its finished products capacity from 0.62 MMTPA to 2.03 MMTPA over the next 4–5 years.
