BMW Industries Limited (BMWIL) has announced its unaudited financial results for the first quarter of FY 2026-27, reporting total income of INR 17,668 lakh, up 15.1% year-on-year from INR 15,354 lakh in Q1 FY26.

The company’s EBITDA rose 22.2% year-on-year to INR 4,437 lakh, while EBITDA margin expanded by 147 basis points to 25.1%. Profit After Tax (PAT) attributable to the owners of the company increased 25.8% year-on-year to INR 1,912 lakh, compared to INR 1,520 lakh in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Commenting on the results, Mr. Ram Gopal Bansal, Chairman, BMW Industries Limited, said that the company’s performance was supported by continued improvement in the utilisation of its downstream capacities. The Rolling Mill business achieved an annualised capacity utilisation of approximately 83.5%, while the Pipes & Tubes business operated at an annualised utilisation of around 40.1%, with production continuing to increase sequentially.

The company expects the next phase of growth to be driven by optimal utilisation of its existing capacity across the conversion business, along with new downstream capacities being established at Bokaro. BMWIL plans to operate a balanced business model by integrating its traditional conversion business with a proprietary supply model, sourcing input material directly and supplying finished products.
