Anil Balaji Steel Plans INR 200-Crore Capex, Targets INR 500-Crore Revenue by 2030

Anil Balaji Steel has announced a INR 200-crore investment plan to expand its manufacturing capacity and market presence, targeting INR 500 crore in revenue by 2030. The company will strengthen its operations in West Bengal while expanding into Odisha and Uttar Pradesh.

Kolkata-based Anil Balaji Steel plans to invest INR 200 crore over the next few years to expand its manufacturing capacity and market reach, targeting a turnover of INR 500 crore by 2030. Of the planned investment, INR 100 crore will be deployed in West Bengal, while the remaining amount will be invested across other regional markets.

As part of its expansion in West Bengal, the company will add 2 lakh sq ft to its existing 1 lakh sq ft manufacturing facility at Jangalpur in Howrah district. It also plans to establish a presence in Odisha and Uttar Pradesh, with factory acquisitions in these states under consideration. The company expects its manpower to increase from 175 to over 500.

Anil Balaji Steel, currently recording a turnover of over INR 125 crore and handling around 25,000 tonnes annually, is also planning an SME IPO within the next three years to support its growth plans. In addition, it has launched a new functional steel solutions vertical, ‘Fabrica’, targeting architectural facades, pre-engineered buildings and automated structures, supported by a planned 15,000-sq ft experience centre.
