Tube & Pipe India: Can you walk us through the journey of your company?
Girish Panchal: We are a publicly listed company, known for our expertise in manufacturing and exporting high-quality washers, sheet metal components, sheet finishing, and stainless steel pipes and tubes. Our products are available in a wide range of Austenitic stainless steel grades, ensuring superior performance and reliability across diverse applications.
We have grown significantly over the years, establishing ourselves as a prominent player in the Indian metal industry. Achieving ISO 9001-2015 certification, our commitment to quality management is unmatched.
By leveraging our technical expertise, process optimization, and dedication to building long-term client relationships, we have successfully expanded into both domestic and international markets across diverse industrial sectors. TPI: Please give information about your manufacturing plants and production capacity.
GP: Our manufacturing facility spans 50,000 square feet and has a current production capacity of 8,000 MTPA, out of which 6,000 MTPA is solely dedicated to stainless steel welded and seamless tubes and pipes.
TPI: Can you please elaborate on your product portfolio?
GP: We offer a diverse range of products primarily related to metal and alloy materials. Our product basket typically includes stainless steel washers, fasteners, sheets, coils, pipes, tubes. These products find application across various industries, including but not limited to oil and gas, chemical & petrochemicals, power generation, automotive, construction, food processing pharmaceuticals, and water treatment.
In terms of the stainless steel segment, we cater to the food processing sector, particularly stainless steel products for hygiene, beverages, and corrosion resistance plants.

TPI: Please elaborate on the technological innovations that you have integrated into your manufacturing processes.
GP: We manufacture electro polished tubes that have high surface finish on both inside & outside used for pharmaceuticals, dairies, food industries etc. These tubes are made with a specialized process designed to meet stringent hygienic and performance requirements. It involves electrically refining the inner surface of the tubes, resulting in a smooth, highly polished finish both inside and outside. This process not only enhances the visual appearance of our product but also improves cleanliness and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for critical applications.
Another significant technological advancement adopted by our company is bright annealing which is conducted in a controlled, neutral atmosphere to preserve the original surface finish of the material both inside and outside the tubes. This heat treatment is performed at temperatures ranging from 1040°C to 1080°C, depending on the chemical composition of the material, with cooling also occurring in a neutral atmosphere. This process produces fine quality tubes that are ready for direct use in industrial and other applications. The process is environmentally friendly, as no harmful chemicals are involved in the procedure, reflecting our company’s commitment to eco-friendly and sustainable practices and technological milestones.
TPI: What role does R&D play in the growth of your company?
GP: Research and Development plays a crucial role in the growth of our company across various industries. It enables our company to innovate, develop new products, improve existing ones, and stay ahead of competitors. Through R&D, we can identify new markets and opportunities. This involves adapting our existing products to meet the specific needs of different markets or creating entirely new innovative products designed to address diverse customer requirements and segments.
R&D also plays a critical role in the production of our stainless steel tubes and pipes by optimizing the manufacturing process, enabling the creation of pipes with superior surface finishes and enhanced corrosion resistance. Through our R&D efforts, we have developed advanced techniques to achieve polished surfaces that not only improve the aesthetic quality of our pipes but also protect them from environmental wear. This results in higher durability and performance, ensuring that the products meet stringent industry standards and deliver long-lasting reliability in various applications.
