JSW Steel and APMDC form APJSW Private Limited to develop Konijedu Marlapadu iron-ore project with INR 1,075 crore investment.

JSW Steel and the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation (APMDC) have incorporated a joint venture– APJSW Private Limited, to execute the Konijedu Marlapadu Integrated Iron-Ore Project in Andhra Pradesh. With an estimated investment of INR 1,075 crore, the venture aims to mine and beneficiate low-grade iron ore, targeting a production of approximately 1.3 million tonnes per annum of beneficiated concentrate, which would replace imported ore and yield cost savings.
